NLC graduates complete a rigorous 15-week pre-apprentice program that includes 480 hours of field, classroom, and behavior training with our Department of Labor certified, journey-level Professional Technical Educators.
Our graduates are career-ready, and willing to relocate across the U.S.

End-of-Term Lineman Rodeo

Following our end-of-term rodeo, the celebration continues with our graduation ceremony. In addition to each graduate receiving their certification, the top-performing student in the areas of Knowledge, Skill, and Behavior are recognized. The prestigious Eagle Award is awarded to the one who excels in all three areas within their team.

Please review our admission requirements before applying:
<ul class="ak-ul" data-pm-slice="3 3 []">
<li>Be at least 18 years of age by the start date of the term you select.</li>
<li>Have a high school diploma or GED.</li>
<li>Possess a valid driver’s license.</li>
<li>Be eligible to obtain a Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL).</li>
<li>Be physically and mentally fit to participate (official Medical Release form provided during the enrollment process).</li>
</ul>
<ul class="ak-ul">
<li>Provide proof of current medical insurance coverage by the start date of the term you select. (Students are required to keep current coverage for the duration of the program)</li>
<li>Not have a felony conviction on your record.</li>
<li>Weigh no more than 270 pounds due to weight restrictions of fall protection equipment.”</li>
